CAN-SPAM Compliance
How The Demandverse newsletter complies with the US CAN-SPAM Act and other anti-spam laws, and how to unsubscribe.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
The Demandverse sends a newsletter only to people who ask for it. This page explains how our emails comply with the US Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing Act of 2003 (CAN-SPAM Act) and the related rules of the Federal Trade Commission, as well as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the EU ePrivacy Directive and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Permission first
We email only people who have subscribed through the sign-up form on our website. We never buy, rent or harvest email addresses, and we never add your address to our list because you contacted us about something else.
Our commitments in every email
- Accurate header information. The "From", "To", "Reply-To" and routing information identify The Demandverse accurately as the sender.
- Honest subject lines. Subject lines reflect the content of the email and are never deceptive.
- Clear identification of advertising. If an email, or any part of it, is an advertisement or sponsored message, we label it clearly.
- Our postal address. Every email includes the valid physical postal address of our publisher: Demand Kings Media Private Limited, Camp, Pune - 411001, Maharashtra, India.
- A clear way to opt out. Every email contains a visible unsubscribe link that works for at least 30 days after we send the email, and you can also unsubscribe by replying or by emailing Sherlyn@thedemandverse.com.
- Prompt opt-out. We act on every unsubscribe request within 10 business days, and usually immediately. Unsubscribing requires nothing more than your email address and a single click or reply. We never charge a fee or ask for other information to process it.
- No list sales. Once you unsubscribe, we will not sell or transfer your email address to anyone, and we keep only what we need to make sure you are not emailed again.
- Responsibility for third parties. If anyone ever sends email on our behalf, we remain responsible for its compliance and monitor it.
How to unsubscribe
- Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any newsletter; or
- Reply to any newsletter with the word "unsubscribe"; or
- Email Sherlyn@thedemandverse.com from the address you want removed.
Transactional and relationship messages
If we reply to a message you sent us, such as a correction or privacy request, that reply is a transactional message rather than marketing. We do not include promotional content in such replies.
Report a problem
If you believe you have received an email from us that you did not ask for, or an unsubscribe request was not honoured, please email Sherlyn@thedemandverse.com and we will investigate immediately. You can also report suspected spam to the US Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
