Cookie Policy
The Demandverse uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Here is exactly what we store on your device and why.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what The Demandverse stores on your device when you visit our website. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
Summary
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social-media tracking pixels or any third-party cookies. Because we only store what is strictly necessary for features you choose to use, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website remember small pieces of information on your device. Unlike cookies, information in local storage is not sent to our server with each request.
What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dv-theme | Local storage (first party) | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme | Until you clear it |
dv-saved | Local storage (first party) | Keeps the list of articles you saved for later on this device | Until you clear it |
Neither item contains personal information, and neither is sent to us. Members of our own editorial team also receive a strictly necessary login cookie when they sign in to manage the website; readers never receive it.
Third parties
Our pages, fonts and images are served from our own server. We do not embed third-party advertising, analytics or social-media widgets that could set cookies. If you click a link to another website, that website may set its own cookies under its own policy.
How to control or delete them
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser's settings (usually under Privacy or Site data), and you can set your browser to block them. If you clear local storage, the website will forget your theme and saved articles but will otherwise work normally.
Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, such as analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it, before setting them.
